RISK Core Values Team Leadership
At RISK, Inc. our mission is to meet our customer’s expectations with the highest integrity, through our professional and personal conduct; where we educate and assist them in the development, deployment and maintenance of their process safety programs. We strive to help all our customers find innovative solutions that reduce risk and improve the overall safety and reliability of their operation.
The RISK logo exemplifies our core values & the disappearing dots in the logo represent that as knowledge increases, risk decreases.
We are solution driven and quality focused to reduce risk.
We operate with integrity in our professional and personal conduct.
We assist others in their pursuit of safe and reliable operations.
We are in a constant state of improvement and learning and seek to share that knowledge with others.
RISK’s team of consultants have broad experience in process safety and risk management. Each brings unique experience to contribute – from running a nuclear submarine to working in the engineering industry – which builds a balanced team that can think outside the box for creative solutions.
Our facilitators have experience utilizing various methodologies including Hazards and Operability (HAZOP), Structured What-If (SWIFT), Checklist, BowTie and LOPA techniques. Their work includes both onshore studies for facilities in the refining, petrochemical, chemical and pharmaceutical industries and offshore assets such as Gulf of Mexico FPS, and LNG terminals. Their experience with project PHA studies, from HAZID level to detailed design stage level reviews, has earned accolades from project teams.
Unlike many consulting services firms that operate on a silo model, we work as an integrated team to support each other in providing the highest quality work product to our clients. We have worked with our Gallup-Certified Strengths coach Barbara Stewart to identity our team strengths during our annual company meetings to build the best team to serve our clients.
We identified that our top team strengths naturally align to support our mission and values. Those strengths are summarized as:
Our Strength | As a team we bring | As a team we are motivated by |
---|---|---|
Strategic | Creative anticipation, imagination & persistence | Seeing a way then others assume there is no way |
Responsibility | Dependability and loyalty | Respect of others |
Restorative | Courage and creativity to problematic situations | Finding solutions to problems that must be solved |
Learner | A learning perspective | New information and experiences to perform on the cutting edge |
Relator | Social depth and transparency | Close mutual relationships built from one-one interactions |
